This Devata watches visitors with open eyes. In Angkor, in former times the statues were consecrated with rituals which included the blowing and opening of the eyes, intended to animate the stone so that it became a receptacle for divine.
This sculpture is suitable for both indoor and outdoor, antique technique and sandstone optics.
